In the logistics centre GARBE Green Park Piešt’any we visited the company NAUT GROUP SK s.r.o., which is dedicated to the logistics of POS/POP materials and goods and e-commerce fulfillment.

From promotional materials, to consumer electronics, to screws.

One part of the logistics division is dedicated to POS/POP materials that require personalized warehouse management system (WMS) solutions. Often these are promotional materials without EAN codes or materials that are not final products. Services include their storage, picking, distribution, installation and aftercare.
“Our company is unique in that, in addition to logistics, we are also involved in merchandising. We currently have more than 300 field staff who take POS material, install and replenish the merchandise. Thanks to this process, we minimize the risk of loss or damage of materials and we achieve a success rate of POS material display of more than 99%, which is rare in this industry,” explains Igor Biro, Managing Director, NAUT GROUP SK s.r.o.

The second part of the warehouse operations focuses on short-term, long-term storage of pallets and its subsequent logistics. The domain of this part is e-commerce fulfillment, i.e. storage, picking and distribution of goods sold via e-shops. The company tries to serve a wide range of e-shops, which is why the warehouse is equipped with shelves of different widths, height between shelves (0.9 – 2.2 m) and load capacity (500 and 1000 kg). Practically everything from refrigerators to screws can be stored in the warehouse.

The green park is in line with the company’s philosophy
The original warehouse in Prievidza was no longer sufficient for the growing firm and after considering the costs they decided for a new warehouse and a new location. The logistics hall in GARBE Green Park Piešt’any has a capacity of 8000 pallets and an area of 4760 m2. The strategic location between the cities of Žilina, Myjava and Bratislava and close to the motorway, allows for fast delivery of goods. Access to a wide base of qualified staff is also an advantage. However, the priority is sustainable warehousing, which is in line with the company’s fiscal philosophy.
“Our warehouse goes beyond the usual standards by taking a green approach and promoting biodiversity. By implementing our own borehole and using rainwater, along with a pond system, we are able to create a natural water cycle within our operations. Our investments in energy efficient solutions such as heat pumps and photovoltaic panels are moving us closer to carbon neutrality,”
Says I. Biro and adds
“One of the EU’s measures to reduce its carbon footprint is likely to be a ‘carbon tax’. Because our warehouse is already carbon neutral, our customers are not at risk of increased logistics costs.”

We were interested to know whether the prices are different in regular and green warehouses.
I. Biro says they are competitive, both because of operating costs and technological innovations in the warehouse. For example, he showed us inductively guided VNA trolleys and the use of RFID tags. The space with a clear height of 9.5 metres is thus used very efficiently and the logistics processes are optimised and therefore cheaper.
FMCG, electronics and POP materials of banks
In addition to the warehouse in Piešt’any, NAUT GROUP also has warehouses in Prague and Budapest. They allow the storage of various types of products and also meet the requirements for type “A” food buildings. The services can thus be used by virtually any firm that supplies its products or POS/POP materials to the aforementioned markets. As we have learned, clients include Mars, Reckit Benckiser, Danone, but also Groupe Seb with their e-shop Homeandcook.cz, Homeandcook.sk, Homeandcook.hu (Tefal, Rowenta, Krups and WMF products).
In the Czech Republic, they stock and distribute spare parts for Buderus boilers for Bosch Termotechnika. In the logistics centre in Piešt’any they carry out both B2B and B2C logistics. You can imagine everything from the loading and unloading of goods, order preparation to sustainable fulfillment. Services also include picking shipments, processing returns and claims, waste separation and disposal, labeling, material sorting and other warehouse operations.
“We pride ourselves on our carbon neutral warehouse, eco-friendly packaging and waste segregation. These measures not only allow us to minimise our carbon footprint, conserve natural resources and encourage recycling, but also provide a sustainable fulfillment. This responsible strategy is not only our competitive advantage, but also a way of helping our customers meet their environmental goals,”
said I. Biro.
As we have already mentioned, in addition to the basic services, NAUT GROUP SK offers a personalized WMS and integration with CRM systems of clients, thus ensuring efficient and transparent management of logistics processes. For customers in the field of POS materials, they have developed their own “POS management TOOL”, which is an online application to manage the movement of POS materials in the field.
